L\u2019accroissement du d\u00e9veloppement r\u00e9sidentiel est une priorit\u00e9 pour de nombreuses municipalit\u00e9s, et Miramichi ne fait pas exception. Tous les ans, des employ\u00e9s de la Ville analyseront ces projets pour d\u00e9terminer leur acceptabilit\u00e9 en vue de la budg\u00e9tisation. La capacit\u00e9 des projets \u00e0 apporter une valeur ajout\u00e9e \u00e0 des propositions de d\u00e9veloppement priv\u00e9 sera un facteur important de cette analyse. En effet, le plan directeur pour les centres-villes veut que les projets d\u2019infrastructures publiques favorisent le d\u00e9veloppement du secteur priv\u00e9. Ces plans et strat\u00e9gies ne doivent pas \u00eatre consid\u00e9r\u00e9s comme des fins en soi, mais comme une base coh\u00e9rente de croissance et de d\u00e9veloppement pour la ville. Bon nombre de ces strat\u00e9gies ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 donn\u00e9 lieu \u00e0 des investissements et \u00e0 des programmes qui peuvent aider la ville \u00e0 cro\u00eetre et \u00e0 prosp\u00e9rer.
