Growing Miramichi

A three-year Action Plan for population growth has been developed by Growing Miramichi and its active
members: Miramichi Regional Multicultural Association (MRMA); Adam Lordon; Miramichi Chamber of Commerce; and Post-Secondary Education, Training and Labour – Working NB Miramichi. This Action Plan will help the city and region of Miramichi grow its population by putting into place specific Actions designed to welcome and retain newcomers and returning residents to the region from all corners of the globe. A key Growing Miramichi mission is to create an inclusive integration strategy for full community participation. Growing Miramichi will attempt to bridge the gap between newcomers and the local business community, as well as life-long residents, community organizations, and municipal governments in the region.
