This community has it all – history, nature, culture, and adventure. It’s a vibrant and diverse destination that will surprise and delight you with its hidden gems and friendly locals.

Upper Miramichi is composed of 16 neighboring communities that span across two counties: Northumberland and York and covers 1833 sq km or 708 sq miles approximately. The area is known for its majestic forests, rolling hills, sparkling lakes, and pristine rivers. The Southwest Miramichi River is especially famous for its salmon fishing and canoeing.
