Goal:
To stimulate below market, affordable and accessible housing options in the City of Miramichi. To encourage housing development that makes efficient use of established City infrastructure. To help build vibrant, sustainable and inclusive neighbourhoods.
Goal:
To attract and retain downtown residents by incentivizing the creation of new housing in the BIA’s. To assist in stimulating the development of more value-added businesses, services and activities. To Increase economic, employment and entertainment opportunities in the downtown. To financially assist qualified property owners and investors to construct self-contained dwelling units in the BIAs
Goal:
The purpose of this economic development incentive is to provide the City with support to attract new development to the City of Miramichi.
Goal:
To improve the overall attractiveness of the City of Miramichi’s Business Improvement Areas as a shopping and business destination. To assist in attracting and retaining tenants in the Downtowns by providing assistance to commercial property owners within the BIA’s to address issues relating to building facades in the designated area.
Goal:
To inspire and support growth, development and sustainability of festivals and events in the City of Miramichi.

Goal:
The purpose of the Tourism Economic Development “TED” Fund is to provide financial assistance to Miramichi community organizations and businesses to develop new tourism products.
